5. P.J. Fleck (39), Minnesota
53-37 (.589) in seven seasons: Winning at Western Michigan is one thing. Doing it in the Big Ten is another. 2019 was a breakout season of sorts. Fleck had the Gophers competing for a playoff spot well into November. An Outback Bowl win over Auburn suggests Minnesota is only getting starter.

Go Gophers!!

No Scott Frost anywhere to be found on their list. Thought for sure he would be sliding into the #1 or #2 slot. Looks like they actually took on the field performance into consideration for this list though so I guess it makes sense that Frost wouldn't fare so well in that regard.

Scott Frost is not under the age of 45.

Go Gophers!!

I'm going to get a lot of backlash for this comment, but the Nebraska/Frost obsession on this board is getting out of hand.

The obsession here is driven by the obsession the National media has shown towards Frost and the delusional nature of Nebraska fans in general. Going into last season they were being touted as a potential conference champion by a lot of places.

All that said, Frost may end up proving he was worth all the hype and attention but to date the results have not been there at all on the field.

Give me PJ over anybody no matter the age ? Ski-U-Mah!

I read this board daily and I certainly haven’t noticed an obsession with Frost. They’re in our division and have also hired a young up and coming coach similar to us so I think it’s only natural that they would come up in discussion here. But an obsession? Nope.

Not sure if obsession is a good word, but maybe a resentment or bitterness. Look at the thread on 2020 BT West odds - all the talk is about Nebraska.

Lane Kiffin at #8? - lost all respect for the article at that point
