CBS: Michigan paid for 'Go Blue' skywriting over Spartan Stadium

Last week, before Michigan State's game against Youngstown State, a message appeared in the sky above Spartan Stadium that simply read "Go Blue." It was just another friendly reminder of the rivalry that exists between Michigan State and Michigan.

Now, while somebody pulling a move like that isn't really a surprise, finding out whose idea it was is. It turns out it was the Michigan athletic department's idea.

"We hired the skywriters to canvas southeast Michigan with slogans and numbers prior to our game last Saturday," said Michigan athletic department spokesperson Dave Ablauf to MLive.com. "There were no locations targeted..."

It would have been really hilarious if Michigan had lost to Akron that same day.
 

"Big Brother" has to do something to get attention because "Little Brother" has won 4 of the last 5 in the series.
