According to multiple reports, Indiana tight end Jordan Fuchs has joined the basketball team.
Fuchs, a freshman out of Queens, N.Y., was ranked one of the top 10 players in New York by NYCHoops.net his senior year of high school before he signed with UConn for football. He later opened his recruitment after the school fired coach Paul Pasqualoni in 2013 and joined Indiana.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end played in all 12 games for the Hoosiers as a freshman, hauling in three receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown. According to Rivals.com, Fuchs started practicing with the team this week and accompanied the squad to Maryland for Wednesday's Big Ten showdown against the Terrapins.
