Rysheed Jordan left St. John's in the spring of 2015 with the hopes of making the NBA.
This week, Jordan was charged with attempted murder and robbery.
The charges came after Jordan was arrested early on Wednesday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Jordan allegedly shot a man in the arm while attempting a robbery with other men last Friday in North Philadelphia. Then, early Wednesday morning, police attempted a traffic stop on Jordan, who then fled by car -- and eventually foot -- before being arrested. According to the police report obtained by the Inquirer, Jordan disposed of a gun with a scratched-off serial number while being followed by officers. The police found said gun.
