During the offseason, 247Sports rolled out SEC positional rankings: Quarterback, skill talent, offensive line, defensive line and the secondary. Meanwhile, CBS Sports did an exhaustive ranking of the top coaches.

I am shocked at how poorly our defense is ranked. They have NFL level talent at every level. I get the don't compete with the tops in the conference, but being in the bottom 4 in every category seems strange.

I'm still baffled as to how the fk Nebraska is so often rated as highly as they are by the media. They aren't good.
