CBS: Action needed with college football's integrity on the line

I don't think Emmert has the stones to do anything ground breaking. The commissioner of college football reminds me of 8 MEN OUT when the MLB owners appoint Kenesaw Landis as that was needed when the integrity of the MLB was in question.

Of course it's not only football that has a reputation problem. U Conn shouldn't have been dancing tonight after the NCAA cited Jim Calhoun for failure to create an atmosphere of compliance within the program before the Big East tournament. The penalty is three years probation, scholarship reductions and recruiting restrictions. But U Conn still got to play in this year's tourney. Hey, we get billions of dollars for the Big Dance and we gotta make sure the finest girls are there, right?!?
