Can I ask how this makes him a moron?

Because he has done 2 things that are extremely unpopular now a days....
1) He displayed a youthful sense of humor (whether or not if it is actually funny is up to interpretation)
2) He did not perform in the robot-like manor most athletes get asked to adopt once they become 'relevant'

I like jokes, they make me laugh, which elevates my happiness, relieves stress, increases quality of life and in turn can also help with your physical health...

Perhaps, you should try it. #lightenupfrancis

It is a joke. And I am laughing, not with him but at him. Obviously one can be a great quarterback and a moron at the same time. It might even be worth the top draft choice.

^ Elite Opinion.

He missed by about a month. If he had played this right it would be funny. This is lame

Hehehe, I like it. April fools bring May morons.

The OP is saying this:

I thought it was funny. People are wound too tight. I'd laugh if Eric Murray or someone did the same thing. Seeing people panic over a game is funny. We all do it. Might as well laugh about it instead of actually believing that football matters. If I were him I would have let people simmer for longer than 8 minutes before I told them it was a joke. Let some people write articles about it first.

I'd argue that whoever fell for the joke is the moron. Akron Zips? National champion QB? Come on.

Considering my livelihood is based around football (and collegiate athletics in general), I'd say it does matter.

That being said, I don't have a huge problem with what Cardale did. Mostly I just thought it was stupid and childish but not that big of a deal.

In what way would this affect your life at all (outside of being a fan) if you were working the same position at Ohio State? Frankly, it's his business what he wants to do.

Not what I was refuting. I'm just saying that football does actually really matter to some of us. I simply don't like people saying sports don't matter. Sports are literally my life.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with what Cardale did. I just thought it was dumb.

I should have made clearer that I was just referring to the vast majority of fans. To some it does matter, but to most it does not. Not trying to belittle your job.
