If I recall correctly, the Bobcat plotted for years to attack Brutus. In fact, I believe it was his sole purpose for becoming Ohio U's mascot.
In defense of Goldie, it is kind of silly to that people made such a big deal out of nothing. People who draw attention to themselves shouldn't be surprised when they get mocked.
Yeah, the kid plotted that for ages... And got banned from all Ohio U games, too. Rufus was the mascot's name.
As far as Goldy goes.. Wasn't the best move to make. It's not a big deal to me (and I'm a Christian), but you gotta think about the hyper sensitive people out there are going to make a huge fit about it. Causing negative backlash, ultimately giving the block 'M' a little bit of tarnish.
