I went with Mount Rushmore to limit to four.
Mercy rule, I guess.

Also, no ineligibility for NCAA violations.

1. Clem
2. Dutcher
3. Musselman
4. ??????

Just cannot think of someone for that 4 spot!

Can you do it with Duke? UNC? Indiana? UCLA?
I kind of see what you're getting at, but then again, I don't.

Musselman, Dutcher, Clem, Bill Fitch (based on what he did later)

John Kundla?
I had a physical education class with Kundla(the year after he quit coaching) while I was at the U. Several Gopher athletes also in the class - it must have fulfilled some distribution requirement. He was a great guy. Also he integrated the U basketball program with Lou Hudson, Archie Clark and Don Yates. Eric Magdanz. was also a great. player for. him.

There is no Mt Rushmore of Gopher basketball coaches. There is only a sandstone bluff below mounds park and anyone added there will quickly wash away.

There is a ton of history here. I know we’re all hungry for success and have been suffering for a long time, but that doesn’t mean there’s NEVER been good days.
