Can we just stop with these regional D1AA games?

There really is no incentive to play these teams. These Dakota schools are talented enough, see these games as their Super Bowls, and then we're surprised when they outperform a team with significant identity problems on both sides of the ball.

Where are the Austin Peays of the world? They might be as talented as these Dakota schools, but I seriously doubt they're as motivated beat the Gohpers, plus I doubt they bring any fans or a band.

Said the same thing on the way home. No big deal IF you win and a big black eye when you lose. Brew's record against the Dakotas is only slightly better than his record against our real rivals.

Fortunately we have Western and Eastern Illinois on the schedule in the future. I must say, how can South Dakota afford to bring their band to a game and the U can't?

That is not the problem. The problem is the constant underpeformance of the Gophers. We should be crushing these teams and it NEVER happens.

Agreed. They were not ready to play today, and never really got on a roll. MN should have beaten this team by 20+ points.

Funny how we do this in basketball all the time and it has never been an issue. Oh that's right, the basketball team actually beats lesser opponents from neighboring states.... Win and this will never be an issue.
