I would shut down GH for four weeks or so but I would miss out on all the wacko posts. This board has gone psycho. Wren is even making sense once again.

Where did all these head cases come from? Other than their poor mother.
 

The hire is not going to happen anytime soon. Maturi is going to take his time to make sure it's going to be a solid coach. If they want an experienced head coach then we need to wait until the season is done.

Or they could hire the best coach available, Mike Leach.
 

I am afraid that people's expectations for a new coach are unrealistic. I am also afraid that their patience for how long it might take to turn this program around are also unrealistic.

This makes me fairly certain that the wacko posts and posters may only increase in the coming days, months and years.

Agree that the board has gone psycho. For such an exciting time, I can't believe all of the negativity.
 

Leach is not going to happen. He'd do a good job but it's to much of a risk. Tubby could not even hire Williams. No way is Maturi going to hire Leach!

Yes. And such a moves just screams Joel Maturi doesn't it? Swift, decisive, confidential. He said at the press conference he wouldn't speak about the coaching search until the hiring was announced. He's really kept that promise hasn't he?
