Beating Indiana this weekend and PSU/Becky/Mishy St.? Holy Balls! 10-2? Is it OK to dream a little bit? Go Golden Gophers!!!!!:clap::clap::clap::cool::cool02::pig::pig::clap::cool02::eek:
 

I'll be happy with the one this weekend.

There's virtually no chance we win out. Wisconsin is better than both teams we lost to and Michigan St may be better than them. The giddiness being displayed is going to lead to some real anger on Saturday if we lose. So I'm, for once, going to stay even keeled and just be satisfied with a win if it happens.
 

I will respond to my own thread!! Yes, the Minnesota Golden Gophers could possibly win the rest of their games this season! Wow! That would be fantastic!!! Go Go Golden Gophers!!!!

Remotely probably? Helllllll no.
 


I actually think we've got a shot at Michigan State....I'll call it right now - Minnesota beats Michigan State 17-13.
I doubt we win out.
 

Fun to dream, no doubt.

But no cart before the horse for me. Let's just get a win in Bloomington this week. 1 game at a time. 1 game plan per game.
 

We are 10 point dogs to IU and that will be the lowest spread we face the rest of the way. Win out? Crazy irrational crap.

More likely we lose out than win out.

Penn State is going to be a double digit favorite next week after being outscored 107-38 in its last two road games? Interesting.
 



We really need to cool it on threads like this. There are way too many.
 

This board is becoming unreadable. We get back to back wins and suddenly we are BCS Bowl contenders.

Seeing the improvement of our offensive line this year as opposed to last year against Nebraska gives me hope. A similar jump in performance next year? Wow.

I think Penn State will be a closer spread at home.

Heck no! No BCS bowl for us this year. Haha! I think 2-2 should be a goal of ours. With 3-1 being an amazing success, and 1-3 as a little bit of a letdown.
 


It's like winning a lottery the ticket. The thought of winning out just feels nice. The chances of that happening are very, very low, but at least it's a higher chance than winning the lottery...
 

Minnesota will beat Penn State pretty easily at home. I'm a million more times concerned with Indiana.
 

Lose out? Win out? Raise your hand if you're happy to be able to think about the possibilities, but scared to hope for too much? Lofty expectations and disappointment if we fail is a tough road, as we found out after the Iowa game. But, I suggest hope is better than fear of failure. I think part of the message the last couple of weeks has been "we're better than we think we are" and the players played accordingly. If you think you can't win, you probably won't. If you think you can, prepare for it and strive for it...you just might. I think the coaches and players are planning and preparing to win out, starting with going about their business this Saturday. Let's go make some plays and get this think rolling.
 

My expectations going in were 6-6, thinking 7-5 and 5-7 were very real possibilities. I am now excited that I will get to see a bowl game and have a new confidence going into each game that we at least have a shot. It is pretty much gravy for me from here on out.
 

Please don't let this board explode if we lose to Indiana. It's one game of so far a pretty cool season.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts. Early in the year, I believed we'd beat Iowa and Indiana, but probably lose to Nebraska and NW. Like most, I also had PSU as a coin flip for the 7th win. So yeah, the path that the team has taken to 6 wins has been different than I imagined (and extremely frustrating during those first two B1G games, to be totally honest), but I'm happy I'll get to watch a 13th Gophers game during the holidays!
