My seats are on the visitor side. People sitting around me where wondering why the band never plays toward the visitor side? The stadium is full of gopher fans. I understand they play to the home side, but it would be nice to have the music directed to this side of the stadium once or twice during the season.

You had your choice - sitting in the sun or not having to watch the marching band upside down. You can't have both.

Not even once a year? There are only 25,000 seats on the home side. The other side is were the other 25,000 fans sit.

Yeah, but it's the 25,000 (more than that actually) with the money. Sorry you have to see a "block W", but you can hear it okay, right?

It wouldn't be fair to the 25,000 who chose the shade. If the band played to both sides they would have taken the sun and YOU would be sitting in the shade.

They also were playing the 1961 Rose Bowl halftime which was more than likely written for the Minnesota side of the Rose Bowl.
