I listened to it but wasn't into it enough to give a full recap. There wasn't any breaking news as far as injuries. It sounds like Derrick Wells has practiced well this week. Kill was surprised he was able to get in vs. NW, but I'm assuming he's good to go against Purdue. He mentioned the guard position again as well that he is concerned with as far as injuries go. Bjorklund will start and Connor Mayes will be in the rotation and play some special teams.
Kill talked up Purdue quite a bit (not surprising). He said their offensive line has a mean streak, their RB's have a lot of speed, and the offense as a whole has played much better after the QB switch. Defensively they're aggressive and will play press man coverage.
One interesting topic that was brought up was official visits and an early signing period. Kill believes schools should be able to have June official visitors, maybe 10 or 15, and that there should be a July signing period. He mentioned northern schools getting the short end of the stick as far as a lot of recruits living too far away to want to come on campus on their own dime, and that so many of them commit early before official visits even start.
