Trey received all the glory this year - All Frosh Team, Shooter, Assister, trey point maven. Meanwhile, Dre was overlooked.

How will Dre respond? Will he have the energy to play ball on defense and score on the offensive end? Will he play fewer minutes? Can he stay out of foul trouble? Will he need help at the point from Welch and deeper bench replacements? It will be an interesting test.

The Gophers have struggled all year against the quick PG - Frazier, Burke, Jackson, etc.

If Dre leaves as the best PG on the floor, then we know the young man has truly arrived.

Yeah...a good shot blocker playing behind you can make your defense look much better...we didn't miss Sampson last night...but we will tonight if he isn't able to play at a high level. The match up tonight is much more friendly to our shot blocking centers...we gonna need both of them to win this game. IMO

All good questions which will be answered on the floor, hence the reasons for actually playing the games.

GO GOPHERS!!!
