Can Ben Johnson recruit a quality player over 6'8?

We know he can recruit PG/SG. He has noticeably struggled with all the bigs he has targeted? Anyone have any insider info as to why the kids are saying no thanks to him.

Because as hard of a concept as it is to understand.. not every kid wants to play here. Especially on a team that lost like 95% of its players and has a new coaching scheme coming in, they’re literally like an expansion team right now. The right big will land at some point, until then we roll with Treyton, Charlie and Croc.

This year is gonna suck, but he’s recruiting some future bigs, give it time.

My issue with this is he gets credit for landing these two guys—which is 100% fine. But anyone he didn’t land was the head coaches fault (Pitino or @ Xavier)
I’m fine giving him credit but he also gets criticism when he DOESNT land someone. Or should. Maybe I’m wrong. But that’s how I see it

Frankly, if Oturu is really 6'8", why would we need to recruit anyone taller than 6'8"?
