On the other hand, since the Northwestern touchdown takes place several plays and several minutes later, does it matter that the following kickoff occurs at a different place in time? If the latter is true, and the Gophers likely are somewhere in their own end of the field following an ordinary post-field goal runback, it would seem that the roughing call actually helped the Gophers boost their lead from 17-13 to 24-17!
