I've heard it said the decision to pass from the 23 yard line with 15 seconds to go resulting in a (near) pick 6 was the dumbest play call they've ever seen. It is up there, but is this worse? I'd say yes. Apologies in advance for Cowherd.

It wasn't a pick 6.
 


That Indianapolis play. I mean, what? How? What did they think would happen? That the ball was invisible? Yeah that's the worst play I've ever seen. Not close. Any other candidates?
 



Wow. At least he lined up in the shotgun and they had a numbers advantage on the field side.

But then the terrible throw.
 


If we pulled these plays you've got to expect someone would laud Claeys for his out of the box thinking. Can't criticize the team.
 



It wasn't even the dumbest play of the game. Purdue running a 4th and inches play with Blough in the pistol was clearly the dumbest IMO.
