I think what you mean is, if I may be so bold, is: "let's get this going for tonight's game".

BTW.... Bulldogs are not good Gopher hunters. Gophers can run from Bulldogs.
 

For some actual fruitful thought and conjecture, I will chime in......

I expect our length and dribble penetration to be a problem for Butler. If we can rebound consistently and contest 3 point shots without fouling in the lane and getting in trouble, we can pull this out tonight.

The key is..."If Butler can put up with our pressure and team depth, the Bulldogs "might" have a chance.

I originally picked the Gophers by 3...I stand by my prediction.

Gold Rush...So have GopherLady, Moonlight, SirM, Art Vandelay, etal. Go Gophers!
 

Foul Trouble is key, even though we have depth, our length for our bigs is thin once you get past the first 3 is an issue with the guys we were counting on to begin the season, and if Sampson is on the bench in the first 7 min it could be trouble for us.

No Offensive Rebounding can be allowed because second chance opportunites for the other team is our achilles heal, lets face it our jump shooting in not a strength so limiting them to one shot every time down the floor will be huge, get low and box out for the over the back fouls to turn the tables and get their thin bench in trouble and the game will be ours for the taking.

I agree if they weren't a team just doesn't get into foul trouble and we weren't the team with the aggresive over pursuing defense. However I agree that they need to worry about it more than us due to our depth, but more big games are ruined by foul trouble than i care to count...
 

You got it Jayhawk...That is why, again, if I may be so bold as to clarify...It is not important what or who starts the game...It is who is out there to do what has to be done to finish the game. because of that, I still pick the Gophers 69-66.
 

Damn it. this Alabama vs Baylor better get over with soon.
