Buckeye RB suspended for first 3 games!..........

Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde will sit out the first 3 games pending an assault charge. Urban Meyer must be going crazy dealing with this kid and the Florida crap going on as well! Go Gophers!!!

Word has it the charges are in question or being dropped as the woman involved does not want to go forward. Hmmmmmm? Booster payoff?

If I was a cynical person, I would say this is a win-win for OSU. They get to look like they're cracking down by suspending a good player - but in reality, they should be able to win all 3 non-conf games without him, and it allows the coaches to better evaluate their depth at RB. It also reduces wear and tear on Hyde, so he should be fresher when he returns.
