Can I get a nomination for Uncle of the Year? I wanted my 12-year-old nephew (he's already a Gopher diehard) to get a chance to see the Gophers play the #1 team in the country, so I offered up my season tickets to his father and him (birthday gift for brother). It gives me great satisfaction knowing my nephew will remember this for the rest of his life. I was OK watching the game on TV, but I have to admit, watching the court storming? It tore my guts out to not be there for that, but talking to my nephew after the game made it all worth it.

Great job to those in the stands last night. The intensity in the arena & then the exhiliration could be felt through the TV screen.

Well, now I have to figure out a way to beat that?

You are the leader in the clubhouse

Selection, I missed the game too and could not see on TV, either. Your sacrifice much higher on the food chain than mine, as I was just doing my duty. I am not liking, however, that a common denominator of the biggest win in the Barn in years is both you and I being absent from our seats. What does that say about our BTT chances?

Maybe while in Chicago for the BTT we can watch the Gopher game(s) on TV at one of the many quality eating establishments within walking distance of the United Center!

Does this mean we don't have to talk about the Gophers on the Bubblicious threads anymore??? By the way, that does put you up for Uncle of the Year SS. It's important to sacrifice something every once in a while in order to ensure we have more future Gopher diehards.

I appreciate that, Drake. His face lights up whenever he walks into The Barn, so I think we've got a Gopher for life.

Yes, I would expect no more "Bubblicious" mentions for the Gophers. Now let's go beat Penn State, and start taking care of acquiring a better NCAA seed.
