This week's bubble teams --

Louisville (32), Dayton (33), UNLV (36), UAB (37), Texas Tech (38), Oklahoma State (39), Maryland (40), San Diego State (41), Charlotte (42), St. Mary's (46), Wichita State (47), Cincinnati (48), UConn (50), William & Mary (51), Virginia Tech (52), Washington (53), South Florida (56), Seton Hall (58), Memphis (59), Marquette (60), Florida (61), Northeastern (62), Arizona State (64), South Carolina (71), Northwestern (74)

Tuesday's Slate
#38 Texas Tech at Baylor
#41 San Diego State at TCU
#48 Cincinnati at #56 South Florida
#51 William & Mary at George Mason
Wake Forest at #52 Virginia Tech
Kentucky at #57 Mississippi State
#62 Northeastern at North Carolina-Wilmington

The Skinny: A big one in the Big East middle as bubblers Cincy and USF go head to head. Also keep an eye on the William & Mary-GMU game. This would be a solid win late in the season for Bill & Mary. I like W&M as a potential at-large (wins over Maryland, Richmond and Wake Forest), but with 5 losses in the CAA the Tribe probably can't afford any more before the conference tournament.

Should be a great opportunity for Mississippi State to jump off the bubble with a home victory....

Won't be surprised if Bulldogs pull it off. They have the perfect kind of squad to beat UK. ... experienced, 4 returning starters from a NCAA team, a defensive presence inside with Varnado. I'm not sold on Kentucky in terms of the NCAA Tournament. Someone along the way will force them to play at a tempo they don't like, and I think because of their youth they'll be ripe to get plucked.

Agreed. You say it better than I, but agreed. I think the Bulldogs have a great chance tonite......
