If I get this right...

Assume Indiana loses out and Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin win out...putting them all at 13-5.

If that happens, you compare the W-L record of that group playing itself and the one with the best winning percentage in that group wins.

#1 Wisconsin (3-1): 1-0 vs. Indiana, 1-1 vs. Ohio State and 1-0 vs. Michigan
#2 Ohio State (4-2): 1-1 vs. Michigan, 1-1 vs. Wisconsin and 2-0 vs. Indiana
#3 Indiana (2-3): 1-1 vs. Michigan, 1-1 vs. Ohio State and 0-1 vs. Wisconsin...but 2-0 vs. Michigan State
#4 Michigan (2-3): 1-1 vs. Indiana, 1-1 vs. Ohio State and 0-1 vs. Wisconsin...but 1-1 vs. Michigan State
#5 Michigan State

If Michigan State wins out instead of Wisconsin (they play each other this week):

#1 Ohio State (4-2): 1-1 vs. Michigan, 1-1 vs. Michigan State and 2-0 vs. Indiana...but 1-1 vs. Wisconsin
#2 Indiana (4-2): 1-1 vs. Michigan, 1-1 vs. Ohio State and 2-0 vs. Michigan State...but 0-1 vs. Wisconsin
#3 Michigan (3-3): 1-1 vs. Indiana, 1-1 vs. Michigan State and 1-1 vs. Ohio State
#4 Michigan State (2-4): 1-1 vs. Michigan, 1-1 vs. Ohio State and 0-2 vs. Indiana
#5 Wisconsin

I think I would throw up if Wisconsin won the Big Ten this year. I still can't believe they are likely to get a first round bye in the tourney and we aren't. Pretty much sums up the Tubby era.

That 4-way tie for 1st is looking more likely.

Indiana's last game is @Michigan.

Michigan is @Purdue tonight and hosts Indiana.
Ohio State hosts Illinois
Michigan State hosts Wisconsin and Northwestern.
Wisconsin is @ Michigan State and @ Penn State.

I'd say Wiscy is least likely to be in the tie.

4-Way Tie for B1G Title

With Ohio State's upset last night over Indiana, this actually looks very possible.

Michigan:
Will likely be favored over Purdue on the road tonight, as well as in their season finale at home against Indiana. This would put their record at 13-5.

Ohio State:
Will be favored at home in their finale against Illinios. 13-5

Indiana:
Will probably be underdogs on the road against Michigan to close out the season. 13-5

Wisconsin/Michigan St:
Winner of this matchup will be favored against Penn St./Northwester respectively. 13-5 for the winner of this one.

That would make for a 4-way tie for the regular season league title. Even though we aren't in the hunt, the possibility of this actually seems pretty exciting to me, and would be fitting considering that everyone has been referring to the Big Ten schedule as the gauntlet all year.

I am an enormous Spartan fan tomorrow. The thought of the Badgers winning the title and getting the #1 seed in the BTT sickens me.

My head explodes trying to figure out the sixth place tie breakers because of the first place tie breakers. What a mess.

Can we merge this with the already-existing thread?
