Why is there only one game on BTN today? 11:00 Maryland @ Wisconsin.

Can someone enlighten me.......I enlighten easily.

Because there are only five games this week and two are on ABC.

ABC/ESPN also have a "limited" number of games to broadcast. Would guess the undesirable non-conference games are ignored by ABC to focus on the conference ones.

In addition, all regional afternoon football games aired on ABC will be aired by ESPN/ESPN2 in outer-markets, making these games nationally available."

They get huge ratings for Sat. afternoon women's soccer on BTN.
