per BTN:

6. Minnesota, 4-0: The Golden Gophers used a punch-in-the-nose offense to knock out San Jose State. It was physical, it was impressive. But this offense needs to pass better. And that pass defense … woof. Big week coming up with Iowa traveling to Dinkytown. Win Floyd of Rosedale, and the possibilities blossom.
This week: Beat San Jose State, 43-24
Last week: 7
Next: Iowa

Go Gophers!!

What was our peak rank last year? I'm sure it was after the Syracuse game.

Those rankings seem fair enough as of this moment in time, I'd guess.

I didn't realize it was such a light schedule in the B10 this weekend, with Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Nebraska, Penn State and Indiana all having bye weeks. Sorta puts added emphasis upon our game as well as Sconnie at tOSU. Go Gophers! Go Buckeyes!

Can't wait! :D

ESPN: Big Ten Power Rankings: Week 4

6. Minnesota (4-0, last week: 7): Knock San Jose State if you must, but the Spartans provided the biggest test for Minnesota to date, and the Gophers passed it with flying colors. Minnesota showed the physical dominance coach Jerry Kill has been waiting for, piling up 353 rush yards and six touchdowns behind quarterback Mitch Leidner and running back David Cobb. Although San Jose State's David Fales showed why he's an NFL prospect, the Gophers continued to force turnovers. Minnesota hosts Iowa this week in a game that has more than bacon on the line.

Go Gophers!!

They're being a little rough on Michigan State for losing by 4 at Notre Dame, aren't they? Would be awesome to live up to the ranking and get 4 Big Ten wins this year.
