The Big Ten’s best players were in Chicago on Monday and Tuesday for 2017 Big Ten Football Media Days.

As BTN.com does every year, we conducted a player survey that included a respondent from all 14 schools.

Here are the rules: Players’ answers were anonymous, and they could not use their school for any answer.

Now I'm intrigued as I try to guess which school voted for the Gophers for best helmet and best uniform.

One thing I noticed was Maryland winning best uniform vote.

I know a lot of us "get off our lawn" types can't stand some of the new things, but it seems clear that the players are fans of it. I think new & different weekly uniforms may be happening more & more.

Of course, 2nd place was Penn State, so maybe I'm analyzing it too much....
