7. Minnesota (11-4, 0-2). The Gophers played well for 37 minutes, only to lose at Purdue. The next time out, they shot the ball poorly in a loss at Maryland. Two road games is tough to start league, I get it. But soft non-conference schedule hasn’t prepared Gophers for league play. Mo Walker is becoming a force inside, though.

Can't argue with Mr. Bardo's reasoning. Sounds about right.

Until proven otherwise, the Gophers are a borderline top-half squad in the Big Ten. Think they're capable of more than that (top 5), but at some point you have to prove it away from the friendly confines of your own arena, and against quality competition.

However, not sure how he can have Penn State (any team that loses to Rutgers should be flogged) and Nebraska ahead of Michigan, despite the Wolverines' struggles.

Ya, 7th place at worst means we are a bubble team. I'd take that at this point. Probably need to get into 5th or so to be safe though.
