CLASS 2017 (HIGH SCHOOL)

POSITION RANK - 76
MIDLAND OLB RANK - 14
TX OLB RANK - 12

I not only like his size, but quickness and nastynest. Whether it is outside linebacker, he has the frame to play at 235. He is a great get for the Gophers. We are building a deep defense, especially at linebacker. I would like to see a couple of defensive tackles this year and next.

Our linebacker corps is gonna be unreal in a couple of years. The freshman this year will mature and we add in two more solid guys in Jackson and Fischer(assuming he stays).

Looks like he is our 3rd highest rated commit of the class. Nice pick-up with 50 days until signing.

Why would anyone want to play for a school where the President, the AD and perhaps the HC won't support you especially when confronted by some feminazis.

Maybe people who know they won't put themselves in a situation where this will happen?

Great news, adding another athletic linebacker to go along with Fisher hopefully. Winning a battle against Bosie St. is always encouraging as well! Good news for what has been a hectic day on GopherHole

The current situation does put the coaches in a real bind for recruiting. It's mid-December, and the Coaches don't know if a number of key players - including 2 of the top 3 returning QB's - will be available next year. If some of the "Gopher 10" are expelled - or even suspended for a year - how does that affect the # of available scholarships?

Do the Gophs have to go out and bring in a handful of JUCO DB's to fill the gaps for next year? Worst case scenario - if Green and Williams are not available, they go into next year with Croft and the JUCO QB as the only QB's on the roster.

Gawd, what a mess.

Remember the good old days, when the only thing we had to worry about was Mitch Leidner throwing the ball to the wrong team?

I'm wondering if all this was expected. We have like 30 db's signed for next year and more in the pipeline, and I couldn't understand why we were looking at so many secondary players. I think we now know.
