Wouldn't he have to sit out a year? Why waste the time? No reason to believe he would get more playing time here. Sounds like he is all about himself. Maybe not a team player. Sound familiar?
 

I am so sick and tired of freshman feeling like they should get major minutes and shots right away. Earn it!
 

As a transfer Jones would not help much next year.

I get my recruiting info from GopherHole. I am wondering if there is anyone in MN that we are possibly overlooking. We definitely need some help at the PG spot next year.

We sorta missed out on NDSU PG Ben Woodside a few years ago (for Rico Tucker perhaps).

Nate Wolters, now a Soph at SDSU (North), is making some think we missed out on him too.

I know Clarence Thomas (no relation to the Supreme Court as far as I know) had 39 pts for Washburn a few games back while playing the point. That game might have been an aberration though - not sure he regularly plays point or scores like this.
 

We do need PG for next year. But it's not gonna come from a 2011 MN player. Thomas is a combo gaurd. We have plenty of those. 2012 they could choose between Chambers and Zierden.
