I saw him catch a pass over the middle today one of the hilites of the day I must say. I do not follow the FBall team as much as BBall and I kinda like Brewster's demeanor and interaction with the kids so I wish him well. But I wonder when Bryant Allen will join the BBall team this year. The regular season football concludes November 21 and BBall team heads to 76 Classic the following Thursday (Thanksgiving) after only 3 regular season games.

Will we have 15 players on the team for the 76 Classic?

If the Gophers have a bowl game, Allen will join the BB team after the bowl game. If not, it will probably be after the 76 Classic.

I thought I saw an interview with Allen where he said he would join the B-Ball for a week (or so) after the football season, then re-join football for practices and bowl game, next back to B-ball for rest of 2010 season.

With Decker out now, something tells me Allen will be joining the bball team sooner than expected.

I don't know about that ... we're still 2 wins away from a bowl game, and Illinois and SDSU should be gimme's no matter who is out.

I wouldn't be surprised either way. We'll beat SDSU, but I wouldn't really be that surprised if we lost to Illinois. Illinois shouldn't be THAT bad, and their only really bad loss was to Indiana. Our defense is pretty terrible, and our only decent offense has been throwing it to Decker.
