I'm hoping this will leave a bad enough taste in their mouths to drive them into next year though.

Lousy end to a great run.

Go Gophers!

I'm gargling with strong ale...it works!

The sun in my world rises tomorrow and it's day closer to next season.

For me I shall go over the tape from the last couple weeks to see what went right then and wrong tonight.

Stanford just plain ol' smacked us in the face. The problem is that refs really took away any chance we had of making a comeback. I give credit to Stanford, but the officiating was terrible. No way we could comeback with the refs killing our best players.

I just put a thread up on Jim Burr. This guy seems driven to "F" over the Gopher's. That being said, the Gopher's lost their composure tonight. Great run. Look forward to next year.

It was ironic that the reffing had been better in this tourney and then we get a B1G ref tonight. That said, that was a beat down. Stanford played great D (with some whistle-swallowing assistance) and we couldn't hit anything. Still a nice run. Hope Dre, Rodney and Trevor are all back next year. Let's go.

Me too. Pi$$ed off Tubby didn't get Halvorsen off the bench in the last minute though.

I think this was the best way to lose (if there is such a thing). This type of performance should give everyone associated with the program plenty of motivation for the off season AND prevent any delusions (from fans too) that the NIT somehow equals Big Ten play...Got to be MUCH better next year.
