That was a very unfortunate series. Center gets injured, new center comes in, immediately fumbles snap to start next drive, Max tries to get to the ball and gets blocked by his own pulling guard, and the running back, who got there first, decides to try to pick the ball up instead of just falling on it. Ridiculous all around.

It's stupid the whole point of the preseason game is to get reps for the guys down the roster for evaluation. (and to soak season ticket holders for 2 more games) Who cares what the final score is? Will someone's feelings get hurt if the first preseason game ends up 27-10?
