Brooks was a great back for the Gophers. Too bad he had so many injuries. One of the funnest, most brutal runners I've seen in a Gopher uniform.

That sucked he didn't get to play. He was an absolute beast when healthy and I loved watching him run through defenders. I still wonder what sort of role some of these players will have as coaches in the future. He could possibly find his niche in coaching.

Edit: Unless that degree thing makes life enjoyable....

One of my favorite Gopher RB's ever.

His violent running style was fun to watch.

I wonder if he gets any attention in NFL or XFL.
