I love the giant “MINNESOTA” and “GOLDEN GOPHERS” on the sidelines. In the current scheme they are too small and wussy. More so than the white court, this has what’s bothered me about the new one. Own that shit! Make it big! Now it looks like we’re apologetically trying to say it without offending the opposing team.

Those dead spots were legit too. I got to shoot around in Williams back in 1998 and I couldn't believe how big and how dead those dead spots were. Rims were super soft too.

Amen, maybe once a season tops. There has been way too much white over the past 5 years. Gold at home is our identity, it's what separates the men's basketball team from other Gopher sports.
