I get a little laugh from Brian Bennett's bad writing nearly every day. I thought it might make the chore of reading through his stuff more enjoyable and sort of like a game if we could start collecting his bad writing. If it isn't incorrect information or poorly researched information, it is just plain old fashioned bad writing. Here is a little something to get the party started:

"Minnesota is looking for its first home win over Michigan since 1977 and has a 14-game home losing streak at home to the Wolverines."

It was important to know that this home losing streak wasn't on the road.

Awesome thread idea. I literally just read something on ESPN that further increased my disdain of Bennett. I often filter the Big Ten blog to just view stuff about Minnesota. Several times I have read an article that had nothing to do with the Gophers yet they were still tagged in it. EVERY time this has happened the article was written by Bennett. His Thursday mailbag was the issue this time.

Hard hitting journalism skills have revealed Phil Nelson's Dad played QUARTERBACK at Wisconsin. This was digging so deep into the story that I believe even Pat Nelson didn't know that he had played QB for the Badgers. I'm looking forward to future articles where we might find out more info nuggets like this. Perhaps Pat Nelson is also younger than his son Phil.

Before the season in a video preview of the Gophers he indicated that we lost at Syracuse in '09. Must be hard to study up for the 12 previews you're asked to do as the blogger. Wait, six previews, Rittenburg did the other half of the league.

I'm just waiting for the day he signs his name as "Brain Bennett"

He doesn't really have a sense of humor either. Rittenberg is funny at times, but Bennett just has lame-brain attempts. Here's today's apparent attempt at a joke: "So I hope you brought your 'A' game to the mailbag, because my A's to your Q's are always Grade-A." Lame... Also, that Halloween in the B1G gag was pretty rough.
