Brewster today

Oh, kettle, thou art black.

There is an irony about complaints of the Gophers mocking the media.

I have listened to two post practice interviews recently. Its obvious that most scribes know very little about football and they focus primarily on roster questions. Put a couple of HS football coaches or ex players in the mix and that would be certainly provide and interesting Q & A session. After awhile, I too would loose patience while answering the same duh questions over and over again. But that is what HC's must do as the scribes are the ones with the recorder. And bore the informed fan who takes time to watch.

This is true. Most of the reporters don't ask about strategy or anything other than 'who's looked good', 'who's injured', etc. Has to get old. How many times can Brew tell the same people that Manuel and Kirkwood look good, Kirksey sprained his ankle, Hageman needs reps, etc. Ask about the 4-4 look in the scrimmage. Ask about the potential mixing and matching in the secondary. Ask about the effect Olson playing has on the OL and who's backing up where. Only MV seems to ask questions other than the simpleton qs
