I know most probably dont care and dont want to hear what he has to say but did Brewster ever release any type of statement since his firing? I havent heard anything, just that he spoke to the team. I think it would be interesting to hear what he thought about his tenure here and what he thinks he could have done better and what his plans for the future are. I havent even read a quote from him since the firing.

I was wondering the same. I do respect the guy for not saying anything publically in anger.

We'll hear from him before the end of the season. If I recall Mason didn't say much until the starts of the 2007 season...a whole 8-9 months later...

Ok, well by then he will have his head clear and release some corny statement. He will probably be joining Shanahan or Mack Brown as an assisitant coach. I was gonna say he is propably enjoying watching his son play for Texas but I dont think he is starting or even healthy.

Brewster making a statement does him no good. If he is all positive, then everyone will just think it was just Brewster being Brewster and that he is just being PC. If he comes out and rips on Maturi and the university, that probably wouldn't help his chances of getting another job somewhere. Him being silent is the best thing for him and the university.

His son is redshirting at Texas.

I was also curious as to when Coach Brew would make a public statement.

It is worth remembering that basically every major sports-talker in this town was wrong about this too. They pretty much all predicted, at one time or another, that his time here would end with an infantile breakdown or some sort of massive scandal.

Just be happy for once that Brewster is actually keeping his mouth closed...

I read that he addressed the team sometime on Sunday folllowing the loss to Purdue.

He sent them a letter written in crayon.

We won't hear from him for some time - there's no point for him or for us. When we do it will be something positive. I don't like Brew as a coach, but I do have to admit that he has been very professional about the way he conducted himself. Brew will be fine - he'll stay in football and still probably make more money than I ever will.

Ummmm, no. I've heard some stories about Timmy B. and his antics around the Bierman building that are quite contradictory....

Please share. Not that I don't believe you I'm just interested.

There was the unsubstantiated rumor about the trashing of the trophy case, but that's all I heard.

I heard that rumor for Reusse, but later heard it wasnt true.

he didn't address the team he just made sure he gave Weber one more rim job before he left.

I'd personally like to see him and Glen Mason get a TV show together on the big ten network.

Do tell. I really thought he was an above-board kind of guy (although a ridiculous cheerleader and a terrible coach). What about his antics?

I'd like to see him jailed considering he picked up his paychecks with a mask and a gun here for four years.
