I am sorry but I can't find a link for this story.

I was listening to AM 1500 about three hours ago and heard FAT PAT talking about a story that after Brew was fired on Sunday he allegedly broke some glass trophy cases either at the Bierman Building or the Gibson-Nagurski complex. Maybe he was pissed because as he was leaving he noticed an empty rival trophy case. I hope he leaves Minnesota and never returns. He can take is Rose Bowl grass and smoke it for all I care! GO GOPHERS AND LETS FILL THE BANK ON SATURDAY!

lol i hope you're being serious

The story came right from FAT PAT'S pizza eater. I don't know if it is true but that is what the boys at AM 1500 are reporting. Funny stuff!

Who cares!!! If I didnt do as well as I wanted to and got fired. I would break trophy glass also...Not like I cant afford to replace it.

FAT PAT IS AN IDIOT!!!

Then you would also be childish and unprofessional assuming this is true.

It would only be vandalism if he intentionally did, which I doubt was the case. But I could see something being broken while hastily packing things/throwing stuff in boxes, etc. In my mind, it's not a big deal.

I heard he was taking a swing at Maturi but Joel moved quickly out of the way. It was kinda like the last scene in Karate Kid 1. :)

I guess then huh! I am glad he did it, it shows his passion and dissapointment in what he wanted to accomplish but didnt! I have nothing wrong with him being dissapointed and royally pissed at not getting done what he wanted to do for this program.

I hope your not the person who sits there with a blank stare on his face while your boss is dissing you and firing your @$$ at the same time.

I've never been fired because I'm damn good at what I do. I also conduct myself like a professional.

He realized the con was up and he was likely never going to find someone dumb enough to pay him a million dollars again for being utterly and completely incompetent. Or Brewster became frustrated when trying to leave the complex because the door said pull and he kept trying to push and he couldn't figure it out.

Brewster has been humiliated in front of the entire football world and his dream of a Big 10 head coaching career is finished forever. That trophy case got what it deserved.

I heard he stole the life sized bobble-head dolls.

I like the false dichotomy between either acting like a mewling child or smashing up the place like a feral retard.

There's probably no truth to this rumor. Not that I think Brewster isn't capable of lashing out, but it just seems like one of those too good to be true rumors that come out in situations like this. They should have the decency to let the man go quietly.

There is nothing false about it. This is a real human reaction by a real human being whose reputation and career has been damaged beyond all repair.

Hey Brain Dead Liberal

If you are going to start a post, at least figure out how to spell, or at least get close to the correct spelling - its spelled "Vandalism."

Well, you are probably right, but it wasn't the trophy case's fault that it was empty!

Whew... the Big Ten is breathing a collective sigh of relief.

Brewster could have lit the Nagurski complex on fire and none of the historic trophies would be damaged.

You don't think his coaching results and public pronouncements (which he could not back up with action/results) were the cause of his getting fired? He brought on his own humiliation and loss of dreams. It's sad, but the accountability is with him. If you want to be a head coach, you know the possibility of being fired comes with the territory.

What the trophy case deserves is a trophy.

HMMMMMMMMM................not sure who to believe on this one. A guy who has an ax to grind against a guy he hated or a university that could just be doing damage control for their ex-coach to get everything behind them. Neither would surprise me.....

Remember, it was the same station that broke the story that Brewster would be fired if they lost to Purdue.

I always get a kick out of morons yelling at others.

Trophy Case. Wrong Place. Wrong Time.
