Brew votes in the coaches poll and their season-ending ballot was released today.

You can see it here:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/2009-final-coaches-ballots.htm

He voted Texas No. 1 and, curiously, voted Cincinnati No. 6. Only one coach ranked the Bearcats lower.

Only five coaches didn't vote Florida No. 1. Four (Brew, Robb Akey, Dantonio and Bo Pelini) voted Texas No. 1. Cincinnati coach Brian Kelley voted his own team No. 1.

He was not, however, one of the people who voted for Northwestern.

I give him credit for ranking Iowa ahead of Penn State. The Hawkeyes did beat the Nitts, something that was forgotten by many as the season went along.

Brew's top 5
1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. TCU
4. Florida
5. Boise State

Brew on the Big Ten
Ohio State 7th (8th in poll)
Iowa 9th (11th)
Penn State 10th (9th)
Wisconsin 23rd (22nd)

Badgers got much more love from Zook (15th), Dantonio (18th) and Tressel (13th).

If you want to see his whole ballot, scroll over his name at the top.

Interesting stuff.

He should have voted Iowa State as #25 just to piss-off our local media.
