The injury frustrations continue for Northwestern running back Bowser, who will now miss his third game of the season. He really hasn’t looked to be full strength since he went down with a foot injury against Stanford back in August. Out wide, Jefferson will miss his first game of the year after suffering an injury against Iowa last week.
The Jefferson injury is a huge blow to a NU passing offense that is already one of the country’s worst. He is the only Wildcat to catch a touchdown pass this season, and outside of the injured Bennett Skowronek, he’s one of the team’s only legit deep-ball threats.
