Seeing how D1 football is rapidly turning into professional sports, I have no doubt the NCAA will soon pass a resolution known as the Blutarsky "Bluto" Rule which expands eligible seasons to 7.

With opt outs and such I feel like non playoff bowl games should go back to being "fun bonus games" and it shouldn't count vs eligibility.
Like a team with a bunch of opt outs ... yeah let the new guys try stuff / get a glimpse of the future guys!!!

Hopefully, coaches knew this was coming before the announcement. Save a guy's 4th game for the bowl knowing some guys will transfer or opt out or be hurt and then realize he could of played
in a previous game....you didn't have to save his 4th game after all...that'd be annoying to find out today..
