Slow down. Brew used to talk about how switching up uniforms motivated the team. Recently this forum has spent much time discussing "bulletin board material" as motivation - so why not uniforms? Heck, I learned yesterday that playing Croft some in the Bowl game would start an unavoidable chain reaction that would decimate all team confidence and drive and basically lead to the U cancelling football as a sport. In that context, I'm not sure how you can be so sure that uniform choice has zero impact on the outcome of a game.

It worked for Gordon Bombay's team in the Goodwill Games. They switched from USA jerseys to Ducks jerseys for the 3rd period in their championship game against Iceland and the rest is history.
