Bowl Locks

[Gold Rush]

I am sure a lot of people on here are playing the college bowl pick 'em on yahoo and if you aren't, you should take a little crack at it -- it makes watching the games a little more fun.

What is everyone taking for their top picks??
I like Texas Tech -8 over Michigan St.
South Florida -6.5 over Northern Illinois.
Rutgers -2.5 over UCF
Houston -4.5 over Air Force

And I am tempted on taking the Gophers but I was hoping to get some news on how the offense was looking in practice first.

Had a two hour conversation with Mike Leach last week. (most of which was not about football)..but trust me when I say that they are not going to take MSU lightly. I'd take Tech -8 as a lock.

Yeah I like that one too. A lot of times in these bowl games you have a team that really has a lot to prove and really wants it. That is one reason I think the Gophers might be a good pick. Other times you have teams that wanted to be in a better bowl game and just go through the motions and get beaten up out there.
