Since we apparently might see a delay in the announcing of a OC, might this be a good sign for Logan from BC as a possible candidate. I like Brewer and Logan the other names don't excite me much. Anyone know if we have been in contact with Logan?

The other positive is that he has been a head coach before and could assist Brewster with certain aspects of that job.

What's so special about Steve Logan? Defense is what won Boston College games.

who is to say the others did not want it (besides Applewhite) Did you ever think that after the interviews Brewster did not want them and so they said they did not want it to save face as they return to their programs?

That is true and maybe you are right, I don't think however that anyone in Oklahoma would blame Heupel for interviewing for an OC position. I really don't see him having to save face with the fans or the coaches on staff there, but again I could be totally wrong.

I think Heupel may have seriously considered the job but maybe ultimately did not want to leave Oklahoma. The others I don't think were offered the job

There's a wiki of Logan attached to my thread on him a few days ago if you. I think though that the earlier work stands out a little more than the BC does. Just like Cosgrove the total body of work is more impressive than any 2-3 year piece.

Heupel also knows that their OC is soon going to be in line for a head coaching job, and he would be in line for the OC at OU. He likes it there and they like him. Why leave. The fact that he interviewed is good for him in his situation there. Did they give him a better deal to stay??? As long as that pgm stays where it is, Josh is in the drivers seat.
