ROAD TO SELECTION SUNDAY, MN – I’m feeling a bonus weekend Field of 68 projection.
The SEC is cooking with a season-high 11 teams in the field, but three of those (Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M) are among the “last 4 in”. The top-heavy Big Ten – down to a season-low seven bids – has Iowa in the “first 4 out” and three other teams (Indiana, Ohio State, UCLA) knocking on the door.
Automatic qualifiers in multiple-bid conferences (noted with an *) hold the best conference record or, in the event of a tie, best NET ranking (in parentheses).
