Does any of this sound familiar? Think their coach gets mocked?

From the article:
At the end of every Boise State practice this year, the players and staff have broken things down by shouting one word in unison: “Family.”
From January through Saturday’s Mountain West championship game, that mantra was repeated daily until the Broncos had forged a deeply embedded camaraderie.
And Boise State coach Bryan Harsin knows what you’re thinking. You’ve heard this cliché before. It’s what every other team claims to be the key to its unique bond.
“That sometimes seems a little bit corny in the world we live in now,” Harsin said following the Broncos’ 31-10 win over Hawaii. “These guys, as the season has gone on, you hear a lot of guys out there (saying) ‘I love you’ and things like that.”

The big question is why does NCAA allow Boise St. to continue to use that hideous blue field?
Anytime I flip on a home BSU game, it's an automatic channel change so I don't get an immediate headache.

I would say that the difference is this: Boise St may have one slogan.
Fleck has multiple slogans/sayings/acronyms/catch phrases/etc.

Some people love it. Other think it's all just a bit too much. That is why Fleck gets mocked. I am NOT saying it's not genuine. It's more the overall perception - that Fleck goes beyond other coaches in the number and volume of slogans and sayings. It's the difference between saying "Elite" 5 times a day versus saying "Elite" 5 times an hour.

We should go with a gold field with maroon yard lines.

Why do young guys in certain communities join gangs? Same thing? It was the same thing 5,000 years ago with the male "enter the hunting pack" ceremonies.
