Who is supposed to be tough, and who is supposed to keep believing? This is taken out of context, it's what a coach should do, not what fans should do. A coach needs to be tough to keep players from getting lazy, and a coach needs to keep believing in players when the team is losing. A coach needs to keep the players from falling into both hubris and despair.
