Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan said Pitino is a lot more mature than he looks.

"He's 31 going on 50 with his experience around the game," Ryan said. "But still then it's in the doing. For him at 31, he's been around scouting reports. He's been around locker room talks. He's been around the recruiting end. So for him, it's a great opportunity. For a young guy like that to get a head coaching job in the Big Ten ... I got mine at 53. I'm envious."
