If you think you know who the teams are, I ask you not post them by name. I'll reveal the teams at 1 p.m.

B, although I think A is out and only has gotten hotter of late.

Nice. I was hoping you'd put this team in one of the blind resumes today. I'd take B, but team A is probably the most interesting case of any of the bubble teams right now.

Josh, we are on the same wavelength. Yes, team A has the potential to be a very interesting test case on Selection Sunday.

I'd go with A. That's assuming that all 6 of those RPI top 50 losses aren't in the 40-50 range though. This year I would imagine that both of these teams are pretty safely in the field at this point.

Team B right now based on better schedule, better top RPI record, better conference standing, and better last 12 record. Though they have that bad loss in there.

Team B. Reward the non-conference SOS difference.

Edit: NM. I figured out who both are. I can see the benefit of blind resumes. I dislike team B.

I think I know who A is, and they are very intriguing. I don't know who B is but their resume looks a little stronger to me.

I'd take Team A because their top 2 wins are far better than Team B.

No peeking at anyone else, I am picking Team B.

Thanks for participating

Team A = Cincinnati, Team B = Memphis.

I'm leaning Memphis on this one. Cincy shouldn't be rewarded simply for (presumably) going .500 in the Big East with the crap-a*s nonconference schedule they played.

Yeah, I figured out A was Cincy soon after I posted, and I was okay with my choice. That non-conference is just so brutal, it's hard to ignore unless they perform better in conference.

I knew Team A was Cincy. I choose them because they are one of my favorite teams (since 1958) and Big East is much tougher than C-USA.

I choose them because they are one of my favorite teams...

I hope the selection committee is a little bit more objective than you are. ;)

If not, I hope there a lot of Gopher fans on the committee.

And for the record, I picked B just based on the numbers given without knowing who the teams were. Of course, when you see that a team is 19-6 and tied for 10th in their conference, it's pretty much a sure thing that they are from the Big East.

Didn't Mac Boston used to be on the committee, back in the day?

He was for at least one year. I heard they were going to ask Maturi to be on the Committee, but they didn't want to change it to Selection Monday. ;)

Thanks for posting these SS. They are very interesting and help you look more objectively perhaps done blind like this. They can really help challenge your perceptions.

Or confuse you with meaningless RPI numbers ;)
