According to Myron, Blake was supposed to start at the point against Wisky. I watched the game on TV and the start of the Gopher game was delayed. I know they did not start RSIII & Colt together so some of Myron's projected plans did not happen. It did seem to me that Blake had some time playing the point though. Is my memory bad or did he get some quality minutes at the point Thursday? The half-court offense certainly looked the best it has in a while - perhaps all season.

He Can Play PG

His ATO ratio is 2.6 which is very good.

But he doesn't score as well at PG because his shooting skills are better utilized at SG.

His ATO would not be 2.6 if he played point. Everyone here knows that.

Not me. Disagree.

I don't believe Blake's TOs would explode if he were put at the point. I do think his assists would go up some, probably keeping the ratio nearly the same. He makes very few risky/stupid passes. And his entry passes into the post are the best on the team. His passes have zip.

In addition, I would bet anything that he understands Tubby's half-court offense scheme better than anyone - and is willing to try to execute it (not an unimportant detail). True, Blake's 3 point opportunities would fall if he saw significant time at the point. But maybe it would force him to attempt more drives to the basket, which he has increased marginally of late with success.
